Finally...

Finally, i am now updating my blog. Haven't done so for many many days. Hope that I can be faithful to do so.

Tris has really grown up! Now, he is 17 months old. He learns new words everyday.

He understood what we instructed him to do and he did it!
1)take the tissue paper for Daddy. He really did!
2) throw your diaper away! He did that!
3) Put the thing in the box. Yes! He could do it.

An Animal lover

Well my parents-in-law have a dog at home. He was petrified by it when he was younger, but not anymore. So proud of him!

Playground

Yes yes i know its been a while since we've update this blog..... So here are some photos of Tristen at the playground. He did his first slide down the slide. Fortunately I was able to get it on video(Thank God for Handphones). As his motor skill is improving at fast speed, my stress also increase in fast speed. He's trying out everything on the playground with the absence of fear.

Venturing into new territories

Now that Tris is walking steadily, he's beginning to tread new grounds. Occasionally coming back to us for biscuits.

Tristen is Sick

Tristen is sick! Sigh! Very Xian when baby is sick. This month, he has been sick twice. 1st week, he had bronchititis probably due to the food that he ate. This time round, he had flu & cough with wheezing. He's on nebilizer.

He did not sleep well due to his stuck nose. Kept waking up. As a result, lester and I din sleep much. What to do?

Doc said it's due to the genes from parents. When young, Lester was asthmatic. Till 7 years old, he outgrew.

Doc said must pray for Tristen. Please pray for him. It's heartpain to see him like that.

I know that whenever we serve God, He will always protect our loved ones. I know Tris is in good hands in God.

Walk Walk Walk!

Tristen is walking!!! He walks very well with much practice. When He walks, I know my life is never the same!! Ha ha! Got to catch him here and there as he walks everywhere. Need to be extra careful. Many times, he has bruises while walking. Sigh! That's life!!!

Lester likes the way he walks cos his backside together with his pampers will shake vigorously. U know what i mean! ha ha.

Learning to say some Words

Tristen is learning to say some words:

Here are the words he is saying:

He will point to his ear when u say ear in mandarin. He will communicate with you by nodding and shaking his head.

Everyday, he will learn new things. It's so thrilled to see him grow up!

Batam Trip

Lester's company organized a Family Batam Trip. The whole family went FREE OF CHARGE! It was a 2 days trip and the focus of it was team building. We had fun there! Tristen enjoyed the most! Tris was well-loved by many people. The tour guide liked him so much! One of Lester's colleague's son always played with him.

One of the places we visited was the Ralph Lauren polo shop. Actually nothing much there. Just managed to buy a belt and a polo T.

Next we went to a place where the sell different types of crackers. A place where you buy gift for all your relatives. Think those who have been there before will know.

We were supposed to have our team building games on the day of our arrival at Batam but it was raining like crazy so we had to postponed it till the next day.

Thank God for a beautiful Sunday morning! We had our games and Lester's team won!!
He was all wet after that.

After an intense morning of games we had seafood at a Kelong. The stuff there were very fresh as they were cooked once caught. However the enjoyment was short live as there was an outpouring of rain! Can say it was amost like thunderstorm. All of us have to squeeze to the center of the Kelong. Fwah i thought we were going to do a titanic.

We had lots of fun. And most significantly, it was BT's(Baby Tris)first oversea trip. Next one.....Holland!

Morning Prayer Meeting Part 2

We really enjoyed the morning prayer meetings. Kind of miss it this week. Bringing Tristen everyday without fail but this time round, Lester was there so not so heavy for me as he carried Tris to the stairs to HOG nursery.

Tristen enjoyed being there. Even though there were no toys yet he would entertain himself such as opening the cupboards, drawing the curtains to get children's stools, climbing onto the table, pushing the chairs. He really made us very busy.

Last Thurs, DiDi Ansel came & joined him. He was really happy to see him. He likes babies and wants to play with them.

I know that one day he wants to be a PASTOR! COS he tried to lay hands on Ansel & pray for him. ha ha.

1st Passport

Tristen did his FIRST PASSPORT! We did online. Within three days, it was done!

Morning Prayer Meetings

Morning Prayer Meetings have been good for the past 1 week. Tristen and I were there for all the days! He is the YOUNGEST prayer warrior! Even though, it was troublesome, but it's all worthwhile. Having soaked in the presence of God every morning.

This week, Lester joined us for the 1st time as he works night shift so that he can come for the morning prayer meetings. He was very excited!

Today was GREAT! Praising the name of Jesus! Whatever that we went through, we lifted up the His name and that gave us the strength to pull through. Personally I was ministered. What a great start for the 1st day of work.

I am looking forward to the morning prayer meetings for the next 4 days!

SOC (Standard Obstacle Course) - Playground Edition

Well since Mummy is so busy, then Daddy will be temporary in charge of the blog.

I brought Tris to the playground located in our estate's garden on a Saturday afternoon. It was love at first sight for him! If you guys didn't know, he loves, and I mean Loves with a capital 'L', to climb stairs!! Not much effort for him to do that but a super work out for us!!

So the first thing he went for were the colored stairs. Up and down and up and down and up and down and up ....... I give up!!!

So i decided to let him crawl up the slide and guess what?! He did it with such flair! Effortless!!! He went up himself, crossed a bridge, down a step and and played with a steering wheel!! He just reminded me of my army days!! The difference is that i'm in pain while doing it....


Tris was having so much fun that I had problem trying to leave the playground.. And everytime we walk pass it, he'll be pointing at it wanting me to bring him for another session. What have i got myself into?!!

Anyway he was just so excited and happy the whole time and that makes it all worthwhile. We had a great time bonding.

Tristen's first sandy encounter

It was the day after his 1st birthday and we've decided to bring Tristen to the beach. We took a stroll from island resort chalet to the shore. Tris was on his new bicycle. We wondered what would be his reaction if we put him on the sand..... well HE LOVED IT!!! Here's a video to show you guys.

Tristen's 1st birthday!

Today is Tristen's birthday! Time flies and he is one-year old now! We booked a chalet @ Island Resort. It was very busy but we enjoyed it. Thanks to my mom in law and Aunties and Uncles who helped preparing the food! Everyone said the food was nice!

We ordered the cake from ecreative. I don't eat cakes but this one I really ate alot. It tasted GREAT!

Grown up Tris

Tris really has grown up. I remembered last year we celebrated his 1st month, this sat, we are celebrating his 1st year birthday. Time really flies. I thank God for His strength to pull me through. It's not easy but it's indeed fulfilling to see him growing up and be healthy. It doesn't stop there. It's still a long way to go. Taking care of children is a life time commitment.

BOB THE BUILDER

Tris really likes to play with car car. Last Sat, we brought him to United Square. He had a chance to sit with BOB the Builder. He really enjoyed himself!

Tris is Sick

He has cough, flu and rashes on his body. The doctor said the virus caused him to have rashes then after that followed by cough and flu. He must be kept at home for 1 week. Couldn't go to church. Poor Tris. The rashes were on and off. Pls keep him in your prayers. He will get well very soon in Jesus' name! Amen!

Last month, we brought my mom to HK cafe for Mother's Day. Tris was well behaved. He ate his dinner there. Whenever it comes to eating, he will get very excited.

Church Nursery

Tris was @ home resting ever since he was discharged from the hospital. Last month, during Mother's Day, we brought him to church once again. He was "promoted" from Nursery 1 to Nursery 3. Self promotion from me. Ha ha. By right, he should be N1. More toys in N3.

He really enjoyed himself and he met his Suntec nursery friend, Christian.

I hope that he will be independent there and i can go out for svc.
